How to Play Fireboy and Watergirl

Control Both Characters

Arrow keys control Fireboy (jump with Up). WASD controls Watergirl (jump with W). You must coordinate both simultaneously to solve each puzzle.

Avoid Your Elemental Opposite

Fireboy dies in water; Watergirl dies in fire. Green goo kills both. Plan every move to avoid each character's deadly pool.

Collect Your Gems

Each character collects their own colored gems. Missing gems doesn't end the level, but collecting all gems on each level earns a perfect run.

Move one character at a time. When learning a level, move each character to a safe spot individually before coordinating both together.
Levers affect the level for both. When Fireboy presses a lever, it may create a path Watergirl needs to quickly cross. Time your lever activations together.
