How to Play Eggy Car

Accelerate Carefully

Hold the right arrow key to move forward. The key is gentle acceleration — sudden speed changes tip the egg off the car.

Balance Over Hills

As you crest hills, ease off the gas to prevent the egg from flying forward. On descents, light braking keeps the egg from rolling off the back.

Read the Terrain

Look ahead at the hill profile. Steeper hills need slower approaches; gentle rises can be taken at normal speed.

Controls

Hold right arrow to accelerate
left arrow to reverse. Balance the egg on top of the car.

Tips for Success

Never accelerate at full power. The egg will always fly off. Feather the throttle — partial input gives much better egg stability.
Uphill: accelerate. Downhill: ease off. This basic rhythm will keep the egg stable through most terrain.
Recovery is possible. If the egg starts sliding, gently reverse to let it roll back into position before continuing forward.
The hills get more extreme. Early hills are gentle; later terrain includes steep drops and abrupt peaks. Build your technique on easy hills before the big ones arrive.
