How to Play Among Us
Complete Your Tasks (Crewmate)
Navigate the ship and complete your assigned tasks. Complete all tasks before the Impostor eliminates too many crewmates to win.
Sabotage and Eliminate (Impostor)
As Impostor, sabotage ship systems to cause chaos, isolate crewmates, and eliminate them when no one is watching. Use vents to travel quickly.
Vote Wisely in Meetings
When a body is reported or emergency meeting called, discuss and vote on who to eject. Wrong votes waste crewmate numbers; correct ones eliminate Impostors.
Controls
- WASD to move. E to interact with tasks and vents. Use/report buttons on screen for kills and reporting.
Tips for Success
Crewmates: do visible tasks. Tasks with animations prove you're a real crewmate to anyone watching. Do them publicly to establish trust.
Impostors: fake tasks convincingly. Stand near task terminals for a realistic duration before moving on — rushing makes suspicion obvious.
Track player movement. If someone claims to have been in a room when you saw them elsewhere, that's a red flag worth raising in the meeting.
Don't accuse without evidence. Unfounded accusations early damage your credibility. Collect observations before making claims.
Use emergency meetings strategically. Call one when you have strong evidence, not out of panic — wasted meetings help Impostors more than crewmates.
